Jasper County, MS (January 17, 2025) – A tragic head-on collision claimed the lives of two individuals Wednesday afternoon in Jasper County. The crash occurred around 5:20 p.m. on Hwy 15 South near County Rd 8.
According to authorities, the two vehicles collided head-on, resulting in fatal injuries to both drivers. The victims have been identified as Maribell Juarez, 41, and Dinaju Juarez, 36, both residents of Laurel, MS. Tragically, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
In addition, another individual involved in the crash sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment. The current condition of the injured party has not been disclosed.
