Jacksonville, FL (September 19, 2024) – A crash early Thursday, September 19, on Pinebrook Dr S left one man dead and another injured. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene just before 4 a.m. A red Ford truck veered off the road, jumped a culvert, crashed through a ditch, rolled over a fence, and struck a tree.

One man was partially ejected and crushed by the truck, while the other was hospitalized in stable condition. Investigators believe speed contributed to the crash, with alcohol involvement still under investigation.
