Jacksonville, FL (October 14, 2024) – A tragic vehicle crash occurred Sunday night on I-95 northbound near J. Turner Butler Boulevard, resulting in the death of a 15-year-old driver. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 9 p.m. when the young driver, who was operating a black Toyota Tacoma, was struck from behind by a white Honda Civic.
The collision caused the Tacoma to roll over, leading to fatal injuries for the driver. Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Fortunately, the 16-year-old passenger in the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
