Dangers of Highway Crashes in Florida
Florida highways, including I-95, are known for frequent congestion and high-speed travel, making accidents common and sometimes severe. Lane closures due to crashes can lead to further traffic issues and increase the risk of secondary accidents.
To reduce the risk of crashes, drivers should:
- Follow speed limits and adjust for road conditions
- Be aware of merging vehicles and sudden lane changes
- Avoid distractions, such as texting or adjusting in-car controls
