Jackson, MS (January 4, 2024) – A 32-year-old man tragically lost his life after being struck by three vehicles on Friday evening along West Northside Drive. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. and is under investigation by the Jackson Police Department (JPD).
Detective Tommie Brown reported that the pedestrian was initially hit by a Nissan Sentra, followed by a pickup truck, and finally by a Nissan Versa. While the drivers of the Nissan Sentra and Nissan Versa remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities, the driver of the pickup truck fled and has not yet been identified.
Emergency personnel pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. The man’s identity has not been released pending notification of family members.
