Jackson, MO (September 9, 2024) – Two individuals were injured in a crash on Sunday, September 8, at the intersection of US-40 and SW Tapawingo Rd. The collision happened at 9:32 a.m. when a 2012 Ford Escape, driven by 79-year-old Virginia N. Mulwee-Kelly, struck a 2006 GMC C5500 that had turned off the highway.
Warren C. Kelly, 77, a passenger in the Ford, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by CJC to Centerpoint Hospital. Virginia N. Mulwee-Kelly had minor injuries and is seeking her own treatment. The GMC, driven by 20-year-old Wyatt D. Lumsden, was driven from the scene.
