Isabella County, MI – Woman Dies from Injuries in Two-Vehicle Accident at Baseline Rd and Leaton Rd

Isabella County, MI (September 13, 2024) – A 77-year-old woman from Chippewa Township has died following a two-vehicle accident on Monday, September 9. The crash occurred at the intersection of Baseline Rd and Leaton Rd when the woman, driving a 2019 Subaru, failed to stop at a stop sign. Her vehicle collided with a 2014 Ford pickup truck hauling a trailer, driven by a 55-year-old man from Remus.

The woman was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but succumbed to them on Wednesday. The driver of the truck was uninjured.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the accident and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
