Irwin, ID (January 20, 2025) – Idaho State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:10 p.m. on eastbound US 26, near milepost 386, east of Irwin. The collision involved a 2016 Polaris Ranger utility vehicle and a 2021 Bluebird bus.
According to authorities, the Polaris Ranger, driven by a 56-year-old man from Rigby, was traveling eastbound on US 26 when it was struck by the eastbound Bluebird bus, driven by a 79-year-old man from Afton, Wyoming. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the crash.
The Idaho State Police received assistance from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, Swan Valley Fire, and Bonneville County Paramedics in managing the scene. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
