Indianapolis, IN (February 23, 2025) – Two people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 southbound in Indianapolis late Saturday night.
The Indiana State Police and emergency crews responded to the scene near mile marker 109.7 after receiving reports of a serious collision involving three vehicles. A notification from the Indiana Department of Transportation at 10:52 p.m. confirmed that I-65 was closed at the crash site. Approximately 30 minutes later, officials announced that two lanes of the roadway had reopened to traffic.
Medics worked to assist the injured, and two individuals were transported to local hospitals for further evaluation. Authorities have not yet provided updates on their conditions or details about the factors leading to the crash. As of late Saturday night, there was no official estimate on when the roadway would be fully reopened.
