Imperial Beach, CA (January 10, 2025) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision with a car on Palm Ave on Thursday morning. Sheriff’s officials are investigating the cause of the crash, which occurred in the 1300 block of Palm Ave just after 8 a.m.
Deputies arrived to find the motorcyclist lying unconscious and face down on the ground. They administered life-saving measures until paramedics arrived. The injured man was breathing when he was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries. His current condition has not been disclosed.
The driver of the car involved in the crash remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement. The Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) Team has been tasked with investigating the incident to determine the factors that led to the collision.
