Humnoke, AR (January 3, 2025) – A tragic collision on State Highway 13 in Lonoke County claimed the life of one individual and left another injured late Thursday morning. The accident occurred at approximately 9:55 AM and involved a stopped ARDOT truck and another vehicle.
According to authorities, the incident unfolded when a passenger of a southbound 1992 International ARDOT truck, 39-year-old Charles Glover of Jacksonville, exited the vehicle to fill a pothole at the rear of the truck. A 2024 Toyota, also traveling south, struck Glover before rear-ending the ARDOT truck. Glover, a pedestrian at the time of the collision, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, 88-year-old David Snowden of Little Rock, sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. The weather was reported as clear, and road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
The body of the deceased was transported to the Lonoke County Coroner’s Office. The cause of the collision remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
