Hughesville, MD (November 2, 2024) – A serious motor vehicle collision occurred this morning at approximately 10:05 a.m. at the intersection of Prince Frederick Road and Brandywine Road in Hughesville. Emergency services responded promptly to the scene following reports of a crash involving a commercial vehicle, which resulted in a rollover.
Fire and rescue personnel from Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary’s County arrived to find three vehicles involved in the incident. Fortunately, there was no entrapment reported. However, the situation was grave, as one patient was pronounced deceased shortly after crews arrived on the scene.
