Huger, SC (January 4, 2025) – A tragic multi-vehicle collision on Halfway Creek Rd Friday evening resulted in two fatalities, according to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO). The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on January 3.
CCSO’s initial investigation indicates that a vehicle became disabled in the roadway. Two occupants exited the vehicle and were struck by a passing vehicle. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other succumbed to their injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital.
The CCSO Traffic Services Unit is conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
