Left-Turn Accidents in Florida
Intersections remain some of the most dangerous areas on Florida’s roadways, with left-turn accidents accounting for a significant percentage of collisions. These crashes often occur due to misjudged gaps in traffic, failure to yield, or inadequate visibility, particularly on high-traffic roads like Little Road in Hudson.
Drivers making left turns must exercise extra caution, as miscalculations can have devastating consequences. Pedestrians, cyclists, and other drivers are also at heightened risk during such maneuvers. Statewide, Florida law emphasizes the responsibility of left-turning drivers to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic to prevent such accidents.
In the aftermath of fatal crashes, families face overwhelming grief compounded by the complexities of medical bills, investigations, and potential legal matters. Support and guidance are critical to navigate this difficult time and ensure that victims’ loved ones have access to the resources they need.
