Horry County, SC (September 6, 2024) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox on International Dr near Market Pl Dr early Friday morning. The crash occurred just before 6 a.m., with the pedestrian traveling south as the vehicle headed east.

The pedestrian was rushed to the hospital but sadly did not survive. The driver and passenger in the Chevrolet were not injured. Authorities have not yet released the pedestrian’s identity, and the investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
