Hopkinsville, KY (December 18, 2024) – A collision between a truck and a bus at the intersection of East 9th Street and McLean Avenue sent three individuals to the hospital Wednesday morning. The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the incident.
According to reports, a truck traveling eastbound on E 9th St was attempting to turn onto McLean Ave when it collided with a westbound bus. The impact caused the bus to veer off the road, striking two street signs before coming to a stop.
Three individuals on the bus sustained injuries. One was transported to the hospital by a private vehicle, while two others were transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed at this time.
