According to the Hopkinsville Police Department, the accident occurred when a truck driven by 70-year-old Russell Robertson of Crofton pulled from Blane Dr into the path of an SUV traveling along Country Club Ln. The SUV was operated by 71-year-old Louvenia Wilford. The collision resulted in injuries that required medical attention.
Emergency responders from Hopkinsville EMS arrived quickly at the scene and provided medical care to Wilford before transporting her to Jennie Stuart Health for further evaluation. The crash was reported to authorities at approximately 2:56 p.m.
