The call came in at approximately 4:58 a.m., reporting that a residence was fully involved in flames after what appeared to be an explosion. A working fire was requested, with a large smoke column visible from three miles away.

By 5:06 a.m., responders confirmed that the two-and-a-half-story single-family dwelling was entirely engulfed in flames, prompting the request for three additional tankers to assist in battling the fire. As the situation escalated, by 5:15 a.m., it was reported that defensive operations were the only option, as the structure had already suffered at least one collapse. Neighbors reported hearing multiple explosions, raising concerns about the severity of the incident.

Tragically, by 5:30 a.m., emergency personnel located one deceased victim at the scene. The situation was declared under control by 6:08 a.m., with units from Honey Brook and Tanker 35 remaining on-site to manage the aftermath. All other units were cleared from the scene.
