Henrico County, VA (January 20, 2025) – A serious crash involving an SUV and a dump truck occurred Monday in the 3000 block of New Market Road, resulting in entrapment and significant injuries. Emergency crews from multiple units responded to the scene to rescue the trapped occupant and provide medical assistance.
Engine 304 arrived first and confirmed that the SUV had rear-ended the dump truck. Rescue-318 and Truck-306 worked together to safely extricate the red-tagged occupant, indicating critical injuries. Medic-307 managed patient care and transported the individual to a local hospital for further treatment. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed at this time.
