Hartford, VT (December 27, 2024) – A serious collision on Interstate 89 in Hartford Thursday morning left a Vermont man with significant injuries. Vermont State Police have charged 70-year-old Rick Bowen with gross negligent operation following the incident, which totaled both vehicles involved.
According to investigators, Bowen was allegedly driving negligently, causing the crash with another motorist. Emergency responders transported Bowen to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, which have been described as serious. The other driver fortunately escaped the crash uninjured.
