Hartford, AL (January 12, 2025) – A tragic house fire on Rose Ave claimed the life of 77-year-old Barbara Carmichael. The devastating incident occurred at her residence and is currently under investigation by the Alabama Fire Marshal.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to combat the fire but were unable to save Carmichael. Her remains will be transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
