Harrisburg, PA (September 12, 2024) – A woman tragically lost her life in an early morning fire at a rowhome on N 15th St. The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m., and crews struggled to access the home due to significant debris. Harrisburg Fire Chief Brian Enterline stated that the roof collapsed soon after firefighters arrived. The woman’s body was later found on the second floor. The blaze also damaged three rowhomes, leaving eight residents displaced. Fire officials believe the cause is accidental, though the exact origin remains undetermined.
