Hancock County, OH (September 18, 2024) – A 23-year-old driver was killed Monday evening when a train struck their vehicle on Township Rd 150, south of Findlay. According to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office. Eden Lasley was driving a Ford Fiesta westbound around 7:15 p.m. when they failed to stop at a railroad crossing near US 68.
The train collided with Lasley’s vehicle, causing it to overturn and come to rest in a nearby field. Lasley was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
