Hamilton Twp, PA (January 20, 2025) – Tragedy struck in Franklin County when a house fire claimed one life on Sunday night. Emergency crews were called to the 500 block of Warm Spring Rd, near Kittatinny Dr, around 8:15 p.m. to address a fire consuming a single-story ranch-style home. The Franklin Fire Company reported that flames had engulfed the attic upon their arrival.
It took approximately 45 minutes for fire crews to extinguish the blaze. Sadly, one individual succumbed to injuries sustained in the fire. Officials have not yet released the victim’s identity. No other injuries were reported during the incident.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown. Both the Franklin County Coroner’s Office and the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal’s Office are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the blaze.
