Hall County, NE (January 10, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash in Hall County on Thursday night resulted in injuries to several individuals, including one person with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred around 6:50 p.m. near Clarice Street and Highway 281 in Doniphan.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, the crash began when a Cadillac attempted to turn onto Highway 281 and collided with a southbound semitrailer. The initial impact triggered a chain reaction that led to multiple additional collisions.
Seven people were transported to a hospital for treatment, with one individual reported to have life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe that weather conditions played a role in the crash.
While providing traffic control, a deputy’s patrol vehicle was struck and sustained significant damage. Fortunately, the deputy was not injured. Authorities continue to investigate the crash to determine its exact causes and contributing factors.
