Hackensack, NJ (September 12, 2024) – A motorcycle crash in Hackensack on Wednesday night, September 11, was caused by an improper turn made by an uninsured driver, according to local police. The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Lodi Street and Polifly Road. Hackensack Police Capt. Michael Antista reported that a 67-year-old driver from New York was behind the wheel of a Cadillac SUV when he made a left turn in front of a motorcycle.
The 26-year-old motorcyclist was promptly taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the Cadillac was cited for making an improper turn and driving without insurance.
