Grove Township, MN (December 19, 2024) – Emergency responders were quick to the scene of a collision involving two vehicles on westbound I-94 at Milepost 137 in Stearns County. The incident occurred early Thursday morning, around 6:37 AM, and involved a 2001 Ford Ranger and a 2014 Kenworth Grain Truck, both traveling westbound.
The Ford Ranger had its airbags deployed during the crash, while the Kenworth Truck did not. The drivers, a 24-year-old male from Freeport, MN, and a 61-year-old male from Melrose, MN, were reported to have sustained injuries, though their conditions remain undisclosed. Medics and fire crews from Melrose Fire and Ambulance provided immediate assistance at the scene. Both individuals’ identities are expected to be released later tonight.
