Grenada, MS (September 9, 2024) – A collision on HWY 7 resulted in the death of a 53-year-old Mississippi postal worker on Saturday, September 7. According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the incident involved two northbound vehicles and occurred around 12:30 p.m. in Grenada County.

Loretta Hopkins, the postal worker, was driving a Mercedes van when the crash happened. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
