Greene County, MO (December 19, 2024) – A three-vehicle collision on Highway H, approximately 5 miles north of Springfield, resulted in injuries late Wednesday morning. The crash occurred at 11:48 AM and involved a 2009 Ford F750, a 2013 Ford Escape, and a 2022 Chevrolet 2500.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to provide assistance to the injured individuals. A 26-year-old male driver and a 27-year-old male occupant of the Ford F750 sustained minor injuries and were transported by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield. The 65-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet 2500 also sustained injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The 61-year-old female driver of the Ford Escape, although shaken, did not require immediate transportation for injuries.
According to the investigation, the collision occurred when the Ford Escape (Vehicle 1) struck the rear of the Chevrolet 2500 (Vehicle 2), causing the Chevrolet to collide with the rear of the Ford F750 (Vehicle 3). The Ford Escape and Chevrolet 2500 were both totaled and removed from the scene by Henry’s Towing, while the Ford F750 sustained minor damage and was driven from the site.
