Grand Junction, CO (February 23, 2025) – Two drivers sustained serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 25 Road and Patterson Road on Saturday morning.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD), officers arrived at the scene at approximately 10:50 a.m. after receiving reports of a major collision. Initial investigations revealed that an eastbound car on Patterson Rd collided with a westbound car that was attempting to turn south onto 25 Road.
Both drivers suffered serious bodily injuries and were transported to the hospital by the Grand Junction Fire Department. Authorities have not yet provided further updates on their conditions.
The intersection remained closed for several hours while police conducted an investigation and crews worked to clear the wreckage. By 3:30 p.m., officials confirmed that the roadway was reopened to traffic. The investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
