Granby, MO (September 17, 2024) – A fatal accident occurred on Monday, September 16, involving a Chrysler 300 and a semi-truck on US-60 at the west city limits of Granby. The crash took place at 7:01 p.m. when the Chrysler, driven by Nathanial McCamish, 19. Collided head-on with the semi-truck while attempting to pass another vehicle. Both vehicles caught fire following the impact.

Shawn McCamish, an occupant in the Chrysler, was pronounced dead at the scene. Nathanial McCamish suffered serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
