Goldens Bridge, NY (September 6, 2024) – A truck overturned on southbound I-684 near Exit 6, Katonah, on Thursday afternoon, resulting in reported injuries. At least two people were hospitalized following the crash, which occurred just before 2 p.m.

The overturned Vogler Brothers Septic truck spilled 200 to 400 gallons of sewage. The Goldens Bridge Fire Department contained the spill to prevent contamination of the nearby reservoir system. Firefighters also provided first aid to victims, and two passenger cars were involved in the accident.

Crews overturned the truck around 4 p.m., and the crash caused lane closures for over two hours. Authorities continue to investigate the incident, and more details will be released as the inquiry progresses.
