Glenville, NY (September 2, 2024) – A fatal car accident occurred early Sunday morning on Amsterdam Rd near Waters Rd, resulting in four deaths. Glenville Police identified the victims as Schenectady residents Elijah Holmes, 24, Nyvon Irizarry, 25, Quiessence Irizarry, 24, and John Kemp, 24.

The incident happened around 3:20 a.m. when a Honda Accord, heading eastbound, veered off the south side of the road. The car went airborne, struck several trees, and finally landed in a ditch.

Authorities have received anonymous tips suggesting a possible video of the crash from another car’s perspective. More information is expected as the investigation continues.
