Gentry, MO (October 29, 2024) – A serious vehicle collision occurred on Monday evening at approximately 6:08 p.m. at the intersection of Route E and Route H, located half a mile west of Darlington. The incident involved a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and a 1979 Suzuki CB850 motorcycle, prompting a response from local emergency services.
Preliminary reports indicate that the accident transpired when the driver of the Chevrolet Silverado, 56-year-old Michael S. Cole from Fish Creek, Wisconsin, was traveling eastbound on Route E. As he attempted to turn north onto Route H, he crossed into the path of the westbound motorcycle, operated by 43-year-old Brandon M. Church from St. Joseph, Missouri. The Silverado struck the front of the motorcycle, resulting in significant damage to both vehicles.

Brandon Church sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Truman Medical Center for urgent medical care.
