Garfield, NJ (September 4, 2024) – A 24-year-old woman from Garfield, Ashley Flores, struck a pedestrian while attempting to flee a crash on Monday, September 2. The incident occurred on Outwater Ln near Wilson St, where Flores first collided with a parked car. In her attempt to escape, she accelerated and pinned a pedestrian between her Jeep and the vehicle she had just hit.
The victim sustained a serious leg injury and was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in stable condition. Flores was also taken to the hospital for evaluation and was released soon after.
