Gallatin, MO (November 20, 2024) – A serious multi-vehicle collision occurred on Tuesday afternoon, leaving one person with moderate injuries. The crash was reported around 2:05 PM at the intersection of MO-13 and Rte M, approximately 4.5 miles south of Gallatin.
According to reports from local authorities, the crash involved three vehicles. A 2024 Chevrolet 2500, driven by a 52-year-old male from Gallatin, MO, was heading southbound on MO-13 when it attempted to turn east onto Rte M. The vehicle collided with a northbound 2005 Ford 500 driven by a 40-year-old female, also from Gallatin, MO. The impact pushed the Ford 500 into the front of a stationary 2022 Ford Explorer at the intersection, driven by a 42-year-old female from Chillicothe, MO.
Emergency responders from Daviess County EMS arrived promptly to provide care. A 60-year-old male occupant of the Ford 500 sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Liberty Hospital for further treatment. No other significant injuries were reported.
Two vehicles, the Chevrolet 2500 and the Ford 500, sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene by Scotty’s Towing. The Ford Explorer had minor damage and was driven from the scene. Authorities, including Tpr. N.A. Regan and other assisting officers, conducted an investigation at the scene, which temporarily disrupted traffic in the area.
