Fulton Co., OH (September 4, 2024) – A tragic accident in Fulton County resulted in the death of a 22-year-old woman on Tuesday evening. Quiyonna McGirt, 22, was driving north on County Rd 23 when she failed to yield at a stop sign. Her vehicle was struck by a semi-truck traveling west on US Rte 20 around 6:30 p.m.

The impact caused both vehicles to veer off the roadway and overturn. McGirt was pronounced dead at the scene, while the semi-truck driver was not injured in the crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident to determine the exact cause. More information is expected as the investigation continues.
