Fruitland, ID (October 2, 2024) – A tragic vehicle vs. pedestrian accident occurred late Tuesday night in Fruitland, resulting in the death of a 59-year-old male pedestrian. The incident took place at approximately 10:19 p.m. on Northwest 16th Street.
According to the Idaho State Police, a 43-year-old man from Payette was driving eastbound in a silver 2007 Chevrolet Uplander when he struck the pedestrian, who was reportedly walking in the lane. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
