Car Accidents in Missouri
Car accidents are an ongoing concern in Missouri, with major highways like US-50 frequently seeing collisions due to driver error, distracted driving, or failure to yield. According to Missouri crash data, thousands of serious injury crashes occur annually, many resulting in long-term consequences for those involved.
Left-turn crashes, such as this incident at Missouri 47, are particularly dangerous due to the impact angle and speed at which collisions often occur. Traffic laws require drivers making left turns to yield to oncoming vehicles to prevent these types of crashes. Unfortunately, failure to do so remains a common cause of roadway incidents.
For those injured in accidents, medical bills, lost wages, and emotional distress can create significant hardships. Seeking legal or insurance guidance may be necessary for those looking to recover compensation for damages.
