Franklin County, MO (November 24, 2024) – A collision involving two vehicles resulted in moderate injuries to one driver on Highway N near 5018 Highway N on Saturday evening. The crash, reported at approximately 6:10 PM, involved a 2002 Honda Rancher and a 2001 Ford F-150 traveling southbound.
Emergency responders, including the Meramec Ambulance, arrived quickly to provide care for the injured driver. According to initial reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when the driver of the Ford F-150 failed to maintain a proper lookout, causing the front of the truck to collide with the rear of the Honda Rancher. The force of the collision caused the Honda Rancher to veer off the roadway, coming to rest in a private driveway. The Ford F-150 was moved before law enforcement arrived at the scene.
The driver of the Honda Rancher, a 39-year-old male from Robertsville, MO, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis for treatment. The Ford F-150 sustained extensive damage but was driven from the scene. The Honda Rancher was towed away by private conveyance due to the severity of its damage.
