Rear-End Collisions in Virginia
Rear-end crashes are among the most common types of vehicle accidents, often resulting from distracted driving, following too closely, or sudden stops. High-traffic roads like Route 220 see frequent congestion, increasing the risk of these incidents.
Even at lower speeds, rear-end collisions can cause significant injuries, including whiplash, back injuries, and concussions. Virginia law requires drivers to maintain a safe following distance and remain attentive to changing road conditions to prevent such accidents.
For those injured in rear-end crashes, medical care, and legal guidance may be necessary. Virginia law allows accident victims to pursue compensation for medical expenses, lost income, and other damages if negligence played a role in the crash.
If you or a loved one has been injured in a vehicle accident, seeking support and understanding your legal options can be an essential step in recovery. Resources are available to help navigate this process.
