Fort Worth, TX (November 8, 2024) – A tragic wrong-way collision claimed the life of one person and left another in critical condition late Thursday night on Randol Mill Rd in Fort Worth. The crash occurred in the 7100 block of Randol Mill Rd shortly after 9 p.m., according to police.
Authorities reported that a pickup truck traveling eastbound at high speeds crossed into the westbound lanes, colliding head-on with a sedan. The driver of the sedan was trapped in the wreckage until Fort Worth Fire officials extricated them. MedStar paramedics provided emergency care before transporting the sedan driver to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup truck also sustained critical injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Neither driver has been identified, and police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances leading to the crash.
