Florence County, SC (November 28, 2024) – Emergency responders from Florence County were quick to the scene of a single-vehicle crash that occurred early Thursday morning at approximately 2:02 a.m. on Huggins Rd, near Old Spring Rd, about six miles west of Johnsonville. First responders, including paramedics, worked diligently to assist the injured passenger, who was taken to the hospital for treatment of a variety of injuries. Tragically, one of the occupants of the 2004 Chevy Tahoe did not survive the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
