Fletcher, OK (January 15, 2025) – A tragic car crash on the HE Bailey Turnpike outside Fletcher claimed the life of one driver on Tuesday afternoon. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) responded to the scene to provide assistance and begin their investigation into the incident.
The crash involved a 2017 Ford Taurus, driven by 73-year-old Janell Lamb, and a 2012 Ford Fiesta, driven by 40-year-old Jennifer Collier. Emergency responders transported Lamb to a nearby hospital, where she was listed in stable condition. Tragically, Collier was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
Authorities have not yet released details regarding the cause of the collision as the investigation remains ongoing. The HE Bailey Turnpike was partially closed during the emergency response, creating temporary disruptions for motorists in the area.
