According to preliminary reports, a 2018 Audi Sedan, driven by 45-year-old Laura Eileen Lanz from Saint Paul, was traveling west on MN Highway 25. At the same time, a 1995 Chevrolet Pickup was heading south on 255th Avenue when the two vehicles collided in the intersection. The road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the accident.
Emergency services from the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office, Belle Plaine Fire Department, and Ridgeview Ambulance responded to the scene to provide assistance. Laura Lanz sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Ridgeview Waconia for medical evaluation. The 15-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet Pickup did not report any injuries and did not require medical attention.
