Farmington, NY (November 12, 2024) – A tragic accident on State Route 332 in Farmington claimed the life of a woman riding an electric bike Monday evening. According to New York State Police, the collision occurred just before 5 p.m., shortly after sunset, and remains under investigation.
Trooper Lynnea Crane reported that a 24-year-old Rochester woman was driving a car northbound when it struck the electric bike as its operator attempted to cross the northbound lane. Despite the swift response of emergency personnel, the woman on the electric bike was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released. The driver of the car was uninjured.
