Fairview, OR (February 28, 2025) – A tragic head-on collision involving a pickup truck and a FedEx delivery van left a 17-year-old driver dead and two others injured in Fairview on Wednesday evening.
The crash occurred around 6 p.m. on Marine Drive when a Ford F-150, driven by the teenager, crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound FedEx van, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office. The truck’s passenger, another teenager, and the FedEx driver were both transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities confirmed that the passenger’s injuries were non-life-threatening, while the FedEx driver sustained significant injuries. Officials do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash, but the investigation remains ongoing.
The sheriff’s office has not released the names of those involved.
