Fairfield, ME – Three Hospitalized in Early Morning Crash at Norridgewock Rd & Middle Rd

Fairfield, ME (September 2, 2024) – A crash early Sunday morning, September 1 left three people hospitalized. The incident occurred just after 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Norridgewock Rd and Middle Rd. 

Police say an 18-year-old man driving south on Norridgewock Rd collided with a northbound vehicle while attempting to pass another car. Two occupants of the northbound vehicle were hospitalized, with one requiring airlifting. The teenager was also taken to the hospital. All three sustained severe injuries. 

Authorities have not yet decided if charges will be filed. The investigation is ongoing.
