These areas pose unique hazards due to high speeds, limited visibility, and vehicle traffic designed for interstate travel rather than pedestrian activity.
In such incidents, thorough investigations are essential to determine contributing factors, such as driver awareness, pedestrian behavior, road design, and vehicle conditions. Accident reconstruction teams and commercial vehicle inspections play critical roles in uncovering the cause and preventing future occurrences.
For families of victims, the aftermath of such accidents brings emotional pain and financial burdens. Seeking legal guidance can help ensure accountability and provide support in securing compensation for damages.
