Evans City, PA (January 28, 2025) – Emergency crews from Stations 20, 22, and 62 responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at the intersection of E Main St and Franklin St in Evans City Boro on Tuesday evening. The incident was reported at approximately 8:19 p.m. and involved a female pedestrian who sustained head injuries.
SQ-20 was the first to arrive on the scene, confirming one vehicle involved and a female patient lying on the roadway. The victim was conscious but bleeding from the head. The command was established by C-20-2, who reported that the patient exhibited altered levels of consciousness (LOC). Station 22 was later canceled by Command as additional units arrived.
At 8:30 p.m., 62-4 arrived to assist and prepare the patient for transport. The victim was transported by 62-4 via ALS emergency to Allegheny General Hospital (AGH) for further treatment at 8:51 p.m. The incident was declared terminated at 9:15 p.m., and fire department units cleared the scene.
